Hollow

I held your hand

There was no warmth in it

You’re fingers felt awkward

It just wasn’t a fit

Nothing blazed in my eyes

As I held your hips

No fireworks, no passion

When I kissed your lips

My breath didn’t hitch

As you said my name

My heart didn’t race

Everything was the same

No feeling when we touch

My heart is cold and numb

There’s no hiding from this truth

Since her, I’ve truly become

Hollow.
